Role:

Art Director

Scope of work:

Conceptual development of animations, graphic elements, font types, style frames for both trailers and various film segments. Some images were solely developed for fund raising, short trailers and presentations for various waves of project development. I was responsible for the initial concept work as the animators and film directors exchanged ideas, possibilities, and final renderings. Below are just a few of the images I created for this timely documentary.

JUVENILE explores how communities across the country are breaking and remaking their justice systems. Driven by youth perspectives, the film focuses on the personal stories of five young people who contemplate their pathways into the system, the impact of their justice involvement, and their personal journeys of trauma and healing. Weaving their stories into the national context, experts with lived experience reveal the difficult but necessary steps that all communities must take when they choose to disrupt the cradle to prison pipeline.
